Han Jitian is a Professor in the School of Energy and Power Engineering and Directors of Center for Renewable Energy Resources, Institute of Clean Energy and Fuel Cell Technology, and Institute of Refrigeration and Cryogenics Engineering, at Shandong University in P. R. China.
Research Interests:
Prof. Han’s main research interests include: Integrated energy system (IES) and CCHP, Fuel cells and hydrogen energy, SOFC/GT hybrid power system, Thermoelectric refrigeration, Transcritical and supercritical CO2 cycles, Membrane distillation and water purification, Micro heat transfer and nano-fluids, Heat transfer enhancement and heat exchangers, Multiphase flow and heat transfer, boiling and condensation, HVACR, Heat pumps, ORC and Kalina cycles and waste heat utilizations, CO2 capture and sequestrations.

Prof. Han has been awarded many times for his academic achievements including: The third Prize for Progress in Science and Technology of Shandong Province (1992), Research Program Development Award of HCET-FIU (2000), The first Prize for Progress in Military Science and Technology (2015).

Prof. Han is very successful in securing research funding from government agencies, such as National Science Foundation of China (NSFC), National Science Foundation of Shandong Province (NSFSD), Ministry of Education (MOE), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), and industrial enterprises. The total research funding Prof. Han recently received is more than Five millions.

2. Collaborative simulation and optimal integration on innovative near-zero CO2 emission distributed combined cooling, heating and power system based on SOFC/GT and ammonia absorption power/refrigeration composite cycles, NSFC, 2014-2017
3. Heat transfer characteristics and mechanism of critical heat flux in flow boiling near critical pressure zone and film-like boiling in pseudocritical pressure zone, NSFC, 2011-2013
Supervision:
Prof. Han has supervised more than 70 graduates, among which ten doctorial students and more than 45 master students have graduated and were awarded the degrees.
