Name and title: Associate Prof. Hongxia Zhao

Overview:

Hongxia Zhao is an associate Professor and Master supervisor, working in School of Energy and Power Engineering, Shandong University. In recent years, she has hosted and completed more than a dozen projects sponsored by government, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, etc. She also hosted and completed several enterprises cooperation research projects. She is a reviewer for several prestigious international journals, such as Applied Energy, Energy, Applied Thermal Engineering, and International Journal of Refrigeration. She has published more than 20 papers in domestic and international journals. She has been authorized more than twenty national patents.

She is a Member of the Young Scholars Subcommittee on Energy and Thermodynamic Utilization - Thermophysical Engineering Society of China, Member of the Committee on Air Conditioning Heat Pump Professional Committee of Shandong Association of Refrigeration, Committee Member of Jinan Refrigeration Society.

Research Interests:

Associate Prof. Zhao’s main research interests include: Refrigeration and Air conditioning, cold chain, Heat pump, Ejector, Dehumidification, Desalination, Renewable energy, Freezing technology.
