Young Editorial Board Recruitment of Green Energy and Resources
Co-sponsored by Shandong University and the University of Nottingham, and published by Elsevier, Green Energy and Resources (GER) is launched as a comprehensive peer-reviewed academic journal with a mission to report on the leading-edge research, innovation and adoption of green technologies and concepts that may potentially deliver a step-change in the green transition of our energy and industrial systems, with a particular focus on green energy, chemicals, materials, and resource and energy efficient processes.
To reflect on the vital role of early career researchers who we recognize as future leaders in green innovation and the lifeblood of the fields in which we publish, the GER editorial office is establishing a young professional editorial board that will act as an integral part of our thriving and inclusive editorial team to deliver our goals and vision for the GER journal. We are now sincerely inviting enthusiastic young scholars to join us as a member of the young editorial board. You are expected to have attained a PhD degree with insightful knowledge of frontier research in the general fields of physical science and engineering for sustainable development, such as sustainable energy technologies, green materials and chemicals, energy harvesting and storage, net-zero technologies, green metallurgy and building materials etc.

2. Responsibilities as young editorial board members
·Identify and/or help organize topics for special issues which you may quest edit.
·Submit or invite to submit at least one article from renowned research teams during the term of service.
·Actively participate in reviewing manuscript with high quality standards.
·Assist in organizing academic conferences, forums, lectures, and salons.
·Proactively promote the journal to your colleagues and peers through national and international conferences, social media, as well as other media platforms.
·Assist the editor(s) in decision making over issues such as plagiarism claims, manuscript submissions and review.
3. Term of appointment
·Once your application is received, the editorial office will carefully review your application and let you know the decision usually within 3 weeks of your application.
·The term of appointment is initially for two years, subject to renewal with your agreement upon your successful end-of-term performance review.
