Cooperation negotiation between Shandong University and Nottingham University was held in meeting room 212 of Dongpei building on 17th January, 2019. Vice dean of School of Energy and Power Engineering, Prof Wenlong Wang hosted the meeting. Professor Chenggong Sun of Nottingham University (Part-time Professor of Shandong University), Secretary of the Party Committee Bo Xu, Executive Vice-dean Gongming Xin, Vice-dean Wenlong Wang, Kuihua Han, Shuzhan Bai, Vice-Secretary of the Party Committee Yujun Teng, Wei Ren and Secretary of Foreign Affairs Suoying He attended the meeting.

Prof Wenlong Wang introduced the current situation and plan of the cooperation between Shandong University and Nottingham University. Prof Chenggong Sun expressed his gratitude to all the members of School of Energy and Power Engineering at Shandong University. Then, Professor Sun gave a detailed introduction to Nottingham University. He also introduced his research background and showed interest in cooperating with School of Energy and Power Engineering in both research and teaching. In the future, Shandong University and Nottingham University will extent the cooperation in research, teaching, staff/students exchange and joint laboratory.
